| This thread is dedicated to the design of the world in which Pokemon Iron will take place. That includes the world map, and the individual route layouts. And anything else relevant. | |

Hmmm.. I think that the regions name should be different and it could be a clump of the other regions. We could get rid of some land (from the land spreading) and make the mountains smaller. Also some parts of the land can be undiscovered.

| Heres a quick edit I did. The crossed out regions are areas that are only mentioned in the Ranger and Gamecube games and I don't think we should include them in Iron. The orange arrows show which direction I think the land would move and an orange circle around islands mean they would clump and move together. | |

| personally, this is how i always pictured the pokemon world laid out, considering the regions are based on regions of japan 1,2,3,4 pokes refers to the generation of the native pokemon fucking servimg butchered the crap out of the image quality, but you get the idea...

| I'm guessing the region to the right of Kanto would be Isshu but we don't need to include that if you don't want to. | |

| I say you should just claim that the other, unreachable regions are "wild and inhospitable wastelands, forests, desserts and mountain ranges" or something similar. | |

i omitted the orange and southern islands, and made this before isshu region was announced, so i need to make an updated version with all that... but thats irrelevant here anyway
personally, ive always wondered how holon region and delta species pokemon would work in a pokemon game....you guys interested in incorporating holon?

| Don't bother trying to insert isshu. It's based on shanghai. | |

| Yeah, there was a huge argument on /vp/ about that. Not sure which side to take, we'll have to wait for the actual game. However: the developers did say it can't be reached except for by boat or plane, implying it's not part of the continent the rest of the regions are on.

| Preliminary sketch; you can see the influence from sinnoh at the top of the main island, and I believe hoenn at the bottom. The 2 other islands were random bullshit and I hate both of them. Especially because 1 looks like a bayleef... | |

| Clearly we must name it Bayleefia in their honour. | |

| I didn't even notice the bayleef resemblance until you pointed it out. Haha
I like the sketch you made. I was thinking that maybe we could move Bayleefia more to the west to be attatched to the main land to form sort of a peninsula

| Would it be possible to have an island emerge right in the center, after beating the rest of the game? | |

| We could just imply that something was there. I could make a reaaaaally subtle dark spot in the middle, and there would turn out to be an underwater grotto there? | |
