| It would look badass as the final evo but who'll volunteer to sprite the 2nd form? | |

| A bit too close to the blastoise family in my opinion, between the face and the shell | |

Wow it looks great! Maybe in the final evolution it could have fangs and long claws?

| What if you made the snout longer like the mole's?Then it would look less blastoise-ish, in other words, less badass. | |

| Actually I think the resemblance, at least in the face, was the eyes. Maybe move them a bit more towards sandslash, or maybe even just use a line? | |

| I actually don't see any resemblance to Blastoise besides the shell, and even then it's not very noticeable and I needed it pointed out. Looks fine to me, in other words. | |

| Kursk you've put an image of this thing being surrounded by velociraptors and then it spins around really fast and wipes them all out with his tail. I believe you've got yourself an attack. | |

| That, actually, would work. In a double battle it would hit all the other pokemon.
Moves come later, just get the actual pokemon finished for now

| I'll draw another concept of him today, and maybe some pre-evos.
I made him a biped because the two other starters are quadrupeds. I also figured the pre-evos would be quadrupeds, so in that way he would be similar to the Cyndaquil line.

| I thought that hyper beam or someone else made a first evo already, it sort of looked like a mole, I thought it'd be could if you either based yours on that or just used that one because it was a biped too. Also I'm all for sandslash eyes. | |

| Here's a different design, I think I've gotten rid of most of the traits that made it resemble Blastoise/Sandslash... I've changed the shell so it is like segmented armor pieces, which is more reminiscent of the doedicurus. I've also made the shell continue so that it is a "helmet" over the top of his head. | |

| looks great! but think it should be facing more forward for the final sprite however that sketch would work perfectly for the back view. | |

| The markings sort of make it look like a tiger. | |

| Here's a mockup... I'm not very good with a tablet so the shading looks a bit off. | |

| I like that Aerodactyl. I think the tail spikes could look more natural though, with a random assortment. As now I'd guess it was a steel type, given that it looks like it has a forged mace for a tail. | |

| Damn, that's an awesome looking Pokemon...Andrew? Alex? Sorry, I'm horrible at memorizing names. ._.
I agree with the above post, the tail end makes it look part steel. Maybe a more curved, shovel-like tip will make it look closer to pure ground.
