so, we gotta start building the world itself. lets have this thread for the development of overworld sprites- buildings, structures, terrain tiles, that sort of thing


to start off, here is a hut i designed for the home of the player
ive added a pen for sacrificial mareep and modeled the thing after paleolithic and native american huts

Holy shit. That's effing awesome.
The only thing I'd suggest is removing the shading at the bottom of the hut to make it look more hut-shaped.

most tiles are 16 by 16, but some intricate repeating patterns are on 8 by 8 tiles

for terrain, first thing we need is some snow and wintery terrain to fit the northern tribes we start in
